Other symptoms of vertigo can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vomiting<\/li>\n<li>Feeling Nauseous<\/li>\n<li>Headache<\/li>\n<li>Loss of hearing<\/li>\n<li>Loss of balance<\/li>\n<li>Ringing or buzzing in the ears<\/li>\n<li>Increased sweating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The symptoms can last for a few minutes to a few hours and may come and go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CAUSES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most common cause of vertigo is a problem in the inner ear. People with this condition often experiences headache, vision changes or hearing loss<\/li>\n<li>Head or neck injury \u2013 vertigo is a common symptom after a traumatic injury to the head or neck<\/li>\n<li>Medications \u2013 certain medications can also cause vertigo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TREATMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vertigo usually goes away on its own. However, there are several treatments that can help manage vertigo. These treatments will depend on several factors, including the underlying causes of vertigo. Some of the treatments can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medication \u2013 if your vertigo is caused by an infection, the doctor may prescribe you antibiotics, or steroids as it can help with the inflammation<\/li>\n<li>Canalith repositioning procedure (CRP) \u2013 if you have BPPV, canalith repositioning will help move the calcium deposit into an inner ear chamber<\/li>\n<li>Vestibular rehabilitation \u2013 a physical therapy may help reduce the symptoms.<\/li>\n<li>Surgery \u2013 when vertigo is caused by a serious underlying issue, such as brain tumor or neck surgery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vertigo can come very suddenly and without warning.
