What is a headache?

How is a headache evaluated in Primary Care?
Your Primary Care provider may:
- Review your medical history and symptoms
- Perform a physical and neurological exam
- Ask about lifestyle factors such as stress, sleep, and diet
- Order tests if needed to rule out underlying conditions
